No Heating - Hot Water OK:

  1. Ensure jumpers on the PCB are correctly placed and the PCB is booted correctly.
  2. Check that the heating programmer is properly set and requesting heating.
  3. Verify that the room thermostat setting is sufficient and requesting heating.
  4. If both programmer and thermostat are requesting heating but heating is still not working, refer to fault finding chart 1.

No Hot Water - Heating OK:

  1. Confirm jumpers on the PCB are correctly placed and the PCB is booted correctly.
  2. If a 2-channel clock is installed, ensure hot water is selected as 'ON.'
  3. If hot water is still not available, refer to fault finding chart 2.

Insufficient or Intermittent Hot Water - Space Heating OK:

  1. Check jumpers on the PCB and ensure it's booted correctly.
  2. If a 2-channel clock is installed, ensure hot water is selected as 'ON.'
  3. If hot water remains insufficient or intermittent, refer to fault finding chart 3.

No Heating and Hot Water:

  1. Verify jumpers on the PCB and ensure correct booting.
  2. Check for gas supply to the appliance.
  3. Ensure electrical supply to the appliance and that the ON/OFF button on the facia panel is switched on.
  4. Check electrical supply polarity.
  5. If a 2-channel clock is installed, ensure heating cannot be selected without hot water also selected ('gravity' operation).
  6. If the appliance still does not work, refer to fault finding chart 4.

Appliance Control Board Check:

  1. Switch off mains power.
  2. Check and insert correct jumpers to match the appliance type.
  3. Insert jumper 5.
  4. Switch on mains power.
  5. The PCB will perform functional checks and then stop.
  6. Switch off mains power.
  7. Remove jumper 5.
  8. Switch on mains power to return to normal operating mode. During functional checks, green LED's 1-4 will cycle on and off at 5-second intervals.

By following these steps and referring to the appropriate fault finding charts in the manual, technicians can effectively diagnose and address issues with the Gledhill Gulfstream 2000 system.
